Wooden Ski Day

Free trail pass for folks on wooden skis. Also dig out your vintage or retro Nordic ski clothing and get in the spirit of celebrating the history of Nordic Skiing. Prizes will be given to 3 winners based on the following categories: Most Old-Timey, Traditional Nordic Ski Wear, and Retro Ski Wear. Ski historian, Glenn Parkinson from Maine Ski & Snowboard Museum will be onsite to answer your questions about Nordic ski history & artifacts. Bring your own vintage equipment and he'll share his wisdom with you!

Free Trail Pass when you arrive and use your wooden skis.

Glenn Parkinson from the Maine Ski & Snowboard Museum will here from 9am to 5pm to talk about our own Nordic ski collection, the history of nordic skiing in this area, and any equipment you bring in to show him!

Trail Pass required for admission to this event. Rentals are available for everyone at various fees.

Costume Parade will start at 1pm. Prizes will be given in 3 categories!

Sinegepole Trio Band will play an assortment of jazz, blues, folk, & country music from 2-5pm.

Norway Brewing Co. beer will be available for purchase starting at 1pm. Profits will benefit the Maine Ski & Snowboard Museum.
